Stupid, stupid girl!

Have I ever told you what an idiot I can be.
Well, here you go "I'M A SELF TITLED IDIOT!"
This statement is only highlighted by the stunt I pulled last weekend...

I went out clubbing to this Indie bar in Melbourne, it's called 'Pogo'.
My friend was leaving for Europe, so we decided to hit the town one last night.
Because we were new to this scene, we were friendly, asking the bartenders and the door people what they think is a good drink, etc.
Well, one particular bartender was rather chatty, and at the end of the night, after all the fun and dancing, talking to fellow club people, Tilly (my friend going to Europe) and I saw the bartender (Dieter) we were talking to earlier. He had finished his shift and asked us to come over and have a chat.

The club was closing so we had to leave. We met some nice, overly friendly guys earlier and they invited us to come to the Crown Casino which was still open. The Dieter said he had nothing else to do, so he hung out with us.

We got sick of the immaturity of the younger guys and just sat down to talk to Dieter. He told us he was 24, done graphic design and is just bartending at the moment. We exchanged numbers and said we'll be friends and what not. Catch up maybe on the weekend.
That was that.

Then, we made plans to hang out on sunday afternoon/evening, but the friend I invited bailed and I was on my own.

One I caught up with him, I told him I wasn't interested and that I wanted to go home, I didn't want to stay out late or stay at his house.

We went out for a few drinks and dinner. It got later and later, every time I asked to leave, he kept making excuses for me to stay, saying things to make me feel bad so I would stay longer.

I ended up having to go back to his house. And insisted to sleep on the couch.
I told him I'm going to bed.

He said, I just want to talk to you in my room. So I said, for 5 mins.
We talked for a while, and then he kept saying "I like you, and I know your attracted to me. So stop denying it."
After that, I knew I should probably try and get home.
He kept trying to kiss me, make me feel guilty for seeing him, telling me reasons why I should break up with my boyfriend, and telling me that I was why he hated catching up with girls.
He then told me his real age which was 30, and expected me to kiss him, and wanted to be with him, he kept touching me and trying to hold me, kissing down my back. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how hw would react if I went off at him.
I was freaking out, I couldn't stop shaking and I told him I needed a drink of water to get away from him.
I ran to get my stuff all together. I was going to get out of there, by then it was 3am.
He followed me after a while, so I told him he was really scaring me.
I got to the front door and went flying down the stairs out onto the street.
He was calling after me, telling me how stupid I was, and that I didn't need to act like that.

I kept walking, worried he was still following. I had no idea where I was, I called mum, and burst into tears of relief and fear.

I managed to flag down a taxi, and an hour and a half later I was home.

So, yeah. I'm now very cautious of men and not knowing people.
Stranger danger is 100% real my friends, take note. Never trust the seemingly nice men.

"Going Up The Country"

This often occurs on my days off whilst listening to Kitty Daisy & Lewis.

I also LOVE MONICA!!!!!
She has me thoroughly prepared for my climb to Everest, with all my lucky charms and pretty accessories.

(NOTE: I'll edit this post when I get home and take a proper photo of all my trinkets I received from Karen and Monica.)

My shoes are officially off!

I have just had a beer, so I'm a little tipsy (all the better to put you to sleep my dear).
This is traditional after a hard six hours or dish-pig labour!
My new job over looking the beach isn't really all that awesome. I work in the back as well as the front.
Working for my money is hard, and painful. It's 10 minutes to 1 am, and thats early to be finished with work!

Ok, enough complaining...
I LOVE KAREN!!!!!!!!!!
She gave me 2 awesome rings made out of guitar strings, 2 little stencil booklets, a hand drawn flower, and a mini dream catcher. CUTE!
Oh, and a beautifully written note, K you have amazing hand writing!

Now, I would put a picture up, but I'm currently not at home at the moment.

But the dream catcher is hanging from my roof!

Oh, I also put more tre branches up, and a vinyl bird-cage print.

Ok, I need to sleep, writing a blog at 1 am is killing me.

You kiddies have a splendific day.

AHHHHH #2

I got my first present!!
From Zoe!
It's my dog called Ginger!  AHHHHHH
I'm so excited!

Here is my puppy Ginger;

New bedding makes all the difference...

Hello my lovely little vegemites,
How are we all?

Well, just a brief update, and then there will be a gap between now and my next blog, maybe up to two weeks.
The reason for this is; I am traveling up to Sydney for a few days over Christmas time (Woo! Bring on the road trip!)
Then I shall be heading back to Victoria, to go to the wonderful music rock festival that shall be taking place over new years... (Did I mention that I'm going for free? Ryan and I happen to have gotten volunteer spots YAY!)

Then I will be back, writing blogs to my little hearts desires.

Now, today as I strolled down to our local post office, I decided to replace a gift that I wasn't a massive fan of, it was a poorly chosen bed spread on my mothers behalf.
So after I delivered your presents, and a couple of comments on the amount of gifts and destinations, I made my way up to the bedding store.

There wasn't a lot to pick from, but I'm very happy with my choice, an aqua and navy double sided little ditty, with a nice coastal print, timelessly classy.
The best part about this is, whenever anyone ask's me what I want as a gift, I can say, "European pillows please, with white cotton covers, thank you."
Yes, yes I will, and I shall give them a very polite and cheery grin.

My little corner of heaven.

This is me enjoying the feel of the new, starched fabric.
Mmm, I love new car smell.

Update #2.

Well, I am currently babysitting a boy named Luca. I used to do scouts a few years back and Luca's mother was my Scout lead, and her older son was in my scout group.
So anyway, I just thought I would let you know what I'm doing as I am writing this blog.

I have been all over town over the past two days, hanging out with Ryan's best mate named Chris, who has come back from Tazzie for a few days to see his family for Christmas.

Today Chris took me to the most amazing little op-shop, I love finding the undiscovered little shops that no one knows about.
I found some gorgeous trinkets there.

I'm also writing up my 'thank you for coming to my birthday and buying me gifts'  letters.
I did the artwork on the front, I think it's a little more sentimental.

Oh! I also have another new job (the doughnut place is closing down), I'm a waitress at a Tapas restaurant. The people there are absolutely amazing and it is located a few metres away from the beach, so you can look out down the pier.
Plus I get a free drink when I finish, I decided I would go with a nice sweet Moscato on my first shift.

I'm exhausted, so this is me out.

Oh, all the colours of the rainbow.

Yes, I have been getting into this Christmas wish list thing. But due to being so sodding poor at the moment, I have taken an alternative route, DIY "WOOOOO!"

So, for those of you who receive my little gifts of love, please enjoy. I thought hard about each one I made for each of you.

In other news, I am feeling physically better.
