Book smell.

I don't know about you, but I just love the smell of an old book. There's something weathered and beautiful about them, like looking at yourself in an ancient distressed mirror.

Well, I'm currently sitting at my local library, with 22 minutes left of Internet use. It's fantastic! They even have a little cafe. Actually, it's a little impersonal, people are sitting right next to you, so they read everything you're writing and I seriously need to wash my hands after using this keyboard.

The reason I'm no longer able to use my laptop is because I've moved out with a friend, to this gorgeous apartment. I'll try and take some photos, just to show you how lucky I am!

We overlook the bay, as in the beach is literally a stones throw away.

Life has become a tad complex at the moment, I'm working two jobs, my main one is a little unstable, but that's apart of the excitement of living week to week. Do you have Target over in North America? Well, that where I'm currently employed, and it's pretty average, but it now officially pays the bills, and I'm getting better at budgeting, is that how you spell it? Budgeting? Gah, curse not having spell check! I miss my mac. I've probably made an absolute fool of myself with all my grammatical errors.

Well, I've now got only 15 minutes left and I have just a few more things to do whilst on this computer.

Is it just me, or has Jamie T gone commercial?
All my favourite bands are falling into their trap! Well, I still have Ash Grunwald and Xavier Rudd, hopefully they'll stay true.

Candles.

My light has blown, so, naturally I have employed a candle as my new source of light. It's really not very effective. But I feel oh so romantic sitting here alone in my bedroom, posting a blog and wearing an old jumper and socks. Now everyone must try my lovely atmospheric approach to lighting issues.

Yesterday I went and saw a movie with my neighbour over the road.
I was amazed at the story behind the film, but I was still utterly freaked out by it. For a PG movie, it really sends uncomfortable shivers up your spine.
Oh, in case you haven't guessed it yet, it's a new little fill in piece of Tim Burton's genius!
Coraline, is a haunting tale of a young girls boring, tedious and unloving life with her hypocritical cold parents. She basically stumbles across a  tiny door that has been hidden behind the wall paper... there lies a world of a loving family and bright colourful land where her existence is a little more appreciated.
But then she starts to see the fine cracks. I personally wouldn't even dream of taking my kids to see that movie, I even got nightmares from it. But it was still beautifully done and it's refreshing from all that other disney crap thats on at the moment.
So I give it 3.5 red wine corks, stars are too boring.

Spacer information please...

I'm trying to make this spacer (stretcher) in my right ear work. I just really need to go up a size.

The one I'm wearing now keeps getting tangled in my hair and catches on my clothes because its a spiral.
So, I'll go hunting for a better one.

Does anyone else like the Decemberists?

I'm hungry, lunch time.

P.s: Dont you just love the mirror effect!

Lithium

"I'm so happy coz today I found my friends, their in my head."

No, not really, but they were for Kurt.
So I'm now waitressing, hanging out with my ex and listening to the greatest songs of all time.
Does anyone else love Bon Iver?

Now, I'm thinking about changing my hair, and as you guys have some idea of who I am, you have the right to choose a hair style for me. You're welcome to choose anything, and I would love to hear what you have to say.
 I'm going to bed now.

Night!

Thank you.

I'm sorry i've been truly pathetic with Blogging.
I also really need to get into some of your blogs too, I'm really lazy at the moment.

But I just wanted to say thank you to those who have read my dribble and still seemed to find some entertainment in it.

I'm sick at home (probably got the stupid Swine) and so now I hav to make Ryan a birthday present, I'm too poor to actually go and buy something.
So here is my plan for his birthday (22nd June).
I'll make him a cake & do an artwork similar to Kate McLeod's work (god I love her stuff).
I'll also try to sew some little flags on a piece of string to decorate his house with, and write him a card.
Did I mention that I cannot sew to save my life?
Wish me luck, i'll let you know if I've failed.

Oh, also, for the past week I've been on placement at a Pathology Clinic, happily stabbing INR patients daily. God I love this work.
Ok, I might be a little Sadistic, but I do it with love.

Go and see Sunshine Cleaning. It's so cute.
